2014 - Meet Francesca

This is Francesca, my "landlady". I signed up for "home-stay" assuming I'd be with a family and  maybe even some kids. Well, the family is one! Francesca is about 60 and Buddhist. This surprised me, being in a country that is about 80% Christian. I've been exposed to two chantings already! She knows as much inglese as I know italiano! Many hand-gestures are involved.

This is her 'nook'. Much tetris (a computer game) is played here. Also too much smoke! :(

I also wanted to share a couple of pictures of the bathroom. Again, I can only show length-wise pictures. Fortunately the shower is big.
